CarmichaelUK are recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer on major rail infrastructure term maintenance contract based in Kent near Sevenoaks; We are keen to hear from you if you have experience working on civils, RC, rail, utilities and groundworks projects.
This project is expected to last another 6 months with the framework continuing well into next year. You will benefit from market competitive rates whilst working for one of the industry's leading contractors.
As a Section Engineer for this scope of works, your duties will include:
Assist the Sub Agent on the fit out works within the new shaft
Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
Managing the fit out sub contractors and site engineers
Carrying out quality inspections
Liaison between the Sub Agent and client on site
Produce ITPs and as builds
Planning weekly and monthly programmes

Have previously worked within a rail environment and civils sectors
Previously worked as an experienced section engineer (preferably with a main contractor)
Demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance, writing method statements and risk assessments
Hold a construction related degree or HNC
Hold a valid CSCS Card
