This company manufacturer, service & calibrate telecommunications equipment for companies across the globe. Due to increase of sales across the automotive, electronics & telecommunications industries, this employer is looking for European Account Manager to help grow & stable the company for further growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- All aspects of distributor management: candidate search and interview, evaluation, appointment, product training, targets, on-going performance appraisal and review, development or termination as necessary.
- Furnish distributors with sales and technical data: pricelists, datasheets, specifications, tech info, manufacturer documentation, promotional tools including comparison tables, etc.
- Forecasting, setting sales budgets in consideration of distributor, market and CRU data, etc.
- Receive, review and approve distributor warranty claims for European network (East and West, excl. UK).
- Providing commercial and technical support.
- Support FEL at exhibitions including ECOC and Fibre to the home council, etc.
- Assist distributors with the further promotion of company products and accessories including customer visits, support at seminars and exhibitions and strategic meetings / tenders, etc.
- Arranging and accompanying management on tours of European distributor and customers.
- Reporting: by event, by visit, weekly and monthly basis including sales data, market news, competition.
- Maintaining internal sales data and records.
Background Required:
- Industry experience desirable
- Experience working as an Account Manager
- Happy to travel when required
- Good general purpose IT skill required. Including: Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel & PowerPoint, Visio & Project an advantage), Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, WeTransfer,
- Strong communications skills - Regular presentations will be required, product demonstrations, verbal and written communications, listening.
