Senior Architect or Architectural Technician job is now available to join a vibrant practice based in Surrey. The position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000, along with hybrid working. The role will involve working on a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial, and education sectors, with values typically ranging from £500,000 to £5 million.

Based in Surrey and working across the Southeast-including Hampshire, West Sussex, and London. Role & Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in the running of projects across all stages with a particular focus on stage 4 onwards.
  • Developing client relationships
  • Develop inventive design solutions
  • Working on the production of technical drawing packages
  • Taking personal ownership of projects and being the point of contact for the project.
  • Liaising with other team members, contractors, and third parties on a regular basis
  • Producing accurate, detailed information
  • Attending site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in the relevant sectors in the UK
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work on later technical stages is essential (Applicants ideally should supply a Portfolio highlighting 1.5 drawing examples)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and Revit ability highly beneficial
  • A technical test will be part of the interview process
  • Experience of running projects and experience of onsite delivery
  • Ability to deal with design issues, finding innovative solutions
  • Love of architecture and keen to embrace new techniques and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues,
  • Be within 45 minutes commute of the business.
