Senior Architect Job in South West London

Currently seeking a Senior Architect to join an architectural and interior design firm based near Wandsworth Park, London. The role will see you overseeing and involved in a variety of high-end residential projects across the UK as part of a small team of 12. This is a great opportunity to join a growing firm at a senior level.

The close-knit team of architects and designers specialise in high-end residential projects which include everything from classic/traditional design for listed buildings, through to sleek minimalist new-builds projects across the UK. They are an award-winning practice with a strong pipeline of upcoming work and are looking to hire someone who has come from a similar role and is able to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will be working on a mixture of period refurbishment and high-end new build residential properties in South West London
  • Deal with the client directly from feasibility through to construction
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the team
  • Preparing drawings, plans, and documents
  • Using Vectorworks as your daily software.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in high end residential new build houses and period refurbishment projects preferably in the South West London area
  • Track record of running projects from inception to completion
  • Contract administration knowledge is preferred but not essential
  • 3D modeling skills Sketchup and 3D rendering skills, In-Design & Photoshop software, Vectorworks would be a bonus but not essential
  • Ability to coordinate and manage external technical staff, consultants, and contractors
  • Managed projects on-site successfully to timescale and budget
  • Can keep up with a fast-paced working environment and deal with obstacles and tight deadlines with a positive attitude.
