Our strategic Projects business is looking for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to join a hugely talented Pre-Construction team in Northampton. Projects will focus on the public sector including health, education, defence and custodial sectors. You will ideally have a background working for a main contractor or consultant and an excellent understanding of the design and construction process. You will work on a wide range of bids within a supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality bids
Job responsibilities
As a Senior Bid Manager at our Rushden office, you will lead the bid team and ensure clients are provided with properly constructed commercial and technical submissions to an industry leading standard. This will involve you chairing bid meetings and briefing the team, liaising closely with the client team as well as our internal subject matter experts and ensuring bids are completed on time complying with Kier's policies.
What do we need from you?
You will need to be MCIOB or MRICS qualified (or similar) preferred with a qualification in either design, planning, project management or estimating. We will be looking for evident experience in a leading bid role with experience on public sector projects valued from £80m plus.
