We're looking for Senior Bid Manager to join Kier Construction within Mechanical and Electrical business unit

Location: This is an agile role where you will be based out of our Basingstoke office in Hampshire, with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites

Contract: Permanent, full time.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Bid Manager, you will lead the bid team and ensure clients are provided with properly constructed commercial and technical submissions to an industry leading standard. This will involve you chairing bid meetings and briefing the team, liaising closely with the client team as well as our internal subject matter experts and ensuring bids are completed on time complying with Kier's policies.

Responsibilities include;

  • You will be responsible for understanding tender documents and Client requirements
  • Developing win themes and answer plans, engaging expert contributors and articulating Client-focussed solutions
  • Ideally experience within a similar role within the construction industry
Who are we looking for?

  • You will need to be MCIOB or MRICS qualified (or similar) preferred with a qualification in either design, planning, project management or estimating.
  • A proven track record of writing high quality bids
  • A strong understanding of design, build, and construction management process is essential
