Quadrise is the global leader in emulsion fuels. It is an exciting time for the company, as we progress projects with market-leading clients in the refining, marine and power generation sectors.
We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated candidate with strong project-management skills and a chemical engineering background to join our team.
Reporting to the COO, the role will involve:
- Developing an understanding of Quadrise's technology and emulsion fuel applications, with a focus on bioMSARâ„¢, our new biofuel.
- Delivering Quadrise's projects in the refining, marine and power generation sectors from a chemical engineering and project management perspective:
- Involvement through the whole project lifecycle, from kick-off to commissioning.
- Project planning and budget management including cost estimation, forecasting and procurement.
- Direct exposure to clients.
- Providing project status updates to the COO as required.
- Working closely with colleagues in the Operations, RDI and Finance Teams.
- Business development activities, such as representing the company at conferences.
- Other activities in direct support of Quadrise's strategic objectives.

Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
Essential
- Chemical engineering degree.
- Industrial experience in energy / chemicals sector.
- Strong project management skills.
- Must be comfortable in an operations environment.
- Aptitude to lead and coordinate small teams. Capable of creating strong working relationships across various disciplines.
- Numerate, methodical and analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and the desire to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
- Strong Health and Safety ethos.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
- Able to commute to London office.
- Have the right to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
Preferable
- Extensive experience in downstream sector.
- Experience with marine fuels or biofuels.
- Process equipment design and site commissioning experience.
- A formal project management qualification
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience of presenting at conferences.
- Business development experience.
