Job Title: Senior Civils Estimator

Location: Sheffield

Business area: Utilities - Yorkshire & Severn Trent Water

Contract: 45 hours a week Full-time.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Civils Estimator to join our Kier Utilities - Yorkshire & Severn Trent Water team to lead estimates for civil engineering works in accordance with Company estimating systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will have a proven track record of winning profitable work, striving from success as you show your capability of take-offs and creation of bills of quantities and activity schedules
  • work in our new Capital Delivery Frameworks with Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent Water, your aim will be to maximise the order pipeline and its conversion into market share, revenue and operating profit within the business unit.
  • A position of responsibility from which you will be able to play an active role in the continued development of the company through generating competitive, profitable tenders for authorisation and submission.
What do we need from you?

  • You will need to be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, estimating software/ systems, including Causeway Estimating Software (CES) and presentation techniques.
  • you'll need to be highly conversant in both NEC3/NEC4 contracts
  • Must be able to preform at a high standard with minimal supervision.
