Job Title: Senior Civils Estimator

Location: Sheffield

Business area: Utilities- Yorkshire & Severn Trent Water

Contract: 7:30am to 5:00pm Full-time.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Civils Estimator to join our Utilities- Yorkshire & Severn Trent Water team in Sheffield to bring their talent and ambition to kier.

Key Responsibilities

• A position of responsibility from which you will be able to play an active role in the continued development of the company through generating competitive, profitable tenders for authorisation and submission.
• Tendering for work in our new Capital Delivery Frameworks with Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent Water, your aim will be to maximise the order pipeline and its conversion into market share, revenue and operating profit within the business unit.

What do we need from you?

• You will have to have a persuasive nature to win profitable work.
• Be able to create of bills of quantities and activity schedules.
• Clear understanding of Microsoft office applications, estimating software/ systems, including Causeway Estimating Software (CES) and presentation techniques.
• A understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• You will need self motivation to achieve excellence under minimal supervision.
