Senior Construction Project Manager required for a client side / in house role with a public sector organisation based in Worcestershire.
The successful candidate will be leading a small team of Project Managers delivering a major capital investment project programme with projects mostly within £10-20m including both new build and refurbishment schemes. The projects are mostly design and build with the role in question therefore similar to the employers agent role with additional responsibilities such as stakeholder management, as this is an in house role. You will be taking a technical lead role on all projects with the support of your team.
For this role we're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager from either a client side or consultancy background. You will be experienced in a client liaison role and confident in dealing with a variety of different stakeholders. It goes without saying that you will have extensive experience of leading large construction projects from inception to completion and we're also looking for previous experience of team management. Experience in the employers agent role is an advantage and you must be based within commuting distance with the ability to travel although projects are based across the immediate area. We would also anticipate a relevant construction related degree and ideally a professional qualification. In addition, security clearance will be required in due course.
