My client is a leading UK Construction Company with over 25 years' experience in planned and reactive repair contracts for local authorities across north and east London, also including the private sector and commercial refurbishment work.

They work on over 10,000 homes every year across London and South of England, offering a warm and friendly service along with the transparency that comes with working with a tried and trusted company.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to work projects around Harringay, Hackney, Stevenage and Islington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, negotiation, and management of planned and reactive repair contracts for local authorities.
  • Manage he Contracts Managers
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements while aligning with the company's strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasting costs and revenues accurately.
  • Ensure that all repair work meets quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing planned and reactive repair contracts for local authorities or public-sector clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • knowledge of interiors, exteriors, scaffolding, electrics etc
  • Experience overseeing multiple contracts as well as their own
