The Role:

This Contracts Manager role is with a leading timber frame building, manufacturing company where you will be running contracts for housing, major apartment developments and commercial buildings. This is a very good opportunity to further develop your career with a high quality employer at the forefront of this rapidly growing sector. The Contracts Manager will be working closley with the design & technical departments and is responsible for ensuring that profits on site are maximised through the effective management of all aspects of work carried out on site utilising all available financial information to assist.


Hands on Manager required with strong Site Manager skills as well as the ability to work as Contracts Manager for numerous sites.

  • Strong people management skills to effectively manage specialist sub-contractors as well as working closely with major contractor clients
  • Good project programming ability
  • Good technical understanding of timber frame construction, to be able carry out inspections and complete sign offs for timber frame construction projects
  • Experience managing medium to large scale timber frame projects including commercial and apartments as well as low rise housing
  • Essential Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS Manager level and Appointed Person for Lifting
