Up to €110k + 10% bonus

Are you an experienced Cost Manager with a passion for construction projects and an eye for detail? We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity to join a Global Data Centre operator as a Cost Manager within their Construction Team. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a leading global organization and make a significant impact in the data centre industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Design and technical teams to support in identifying the scope and all requirements for costing
  • In collaboration with the responsible delivery teams, provide cost estimates for both Enterprise and Hyperscale clients
  • In collaboration with delivery and design teams, support in the preparation of tender documents for contractor selection
  • Alternatively supporting the Procurement team in establishing framework agreements
  • Identifying and assessing commercial risks on each project
  • Manage cost of change & drive governance and internal process
  • Support in the all the Procurement stages
  • Identify and develop Cost Benchmarking across the different fit out disciplines
  • Support with regards to Change and Risk Management
  • Manage all commercial/financial requirements from PR/PO's through to evaluation of the works and invoicing
  • Support and enhance internal processes and regular reporting cadence for all projects
  • Independent creation and merging of all inputs for project applications from the technically involved stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed technical or business studies with a technical focus (e.g. focus on cost planning and cost control) or comparable training
  • Proven professional experience as a quantity surveyor, in the relevant work area or similar
  • Industry experience - DC's desirable, other industrial construction background will be considered
  • Very good technical knowledge of spoken and written English, additionally 2nd language German would be beneficial
  • Independent creation and merging of all inputs for project applications from the technically involved stakeholders
