We're looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks (NRNN) Team based in the Southwest of England. In this role you'll be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

Location: Based at one of our operational depots in Plymouth, Bodmin or Redruth

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will manage and support your Clean Water Operational teams across the Kier's and South West Water Alliance. This role will require close client relationships to be established as well as liaison with our local and national supply chain partners. The Senior Delivery Manager will be responsible for strategic planning of resources in your area as well plant, materials and equipment. You will also be responsible for the Site Support Team (Backfill and Reinstatement) ensuring a one team approach, influencing and motivating and driving change where needed.

Your day to day will include:

· Overseeing the direction and management of you operational teams, ensuring good profitability and the delivery of business plans

· Driving innovation of equipment, materials and procedures

· Visiting the operational depots and areas on a regular basis to maintain relations with your teams to ensure consistency

· Being a leader for health and safety standards across the business, carry out and review site safety audits / inspections, ensuring investigations are carried out to a high standard and being at the forefront of safety and environmental standards

· Participating in a standby and shift rota covering 7 days a week.

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Delivery Manager is great for you if you have knowledge and experience of:

· Working on a 24/7 R&M Utilities contract, with major event management experience such as trunk main failures etc

· Managing large multi-disciplined teams and developing individuals through mentoring, coaching and training

· A proven track record of delivering work to high safety and environmental standards as well as demonstrating a desire to keep our workforce and the public safe at all times.
