Senior Design Manager role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our site in the Oxford region. We are currently working with a leading contractor who are looking to strengthen their construction team.

Senior Design Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process ensuring the design aligns with project goals and budget
  • Manage the design consultants as well as working closely with the project teams to oversee the development
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and be able to translate them into clear design briefs
  • Work with architects to ensure the designs are practical and compliant
  • Ensure the project meets the deadlines set
  • Deliver high quality work
  • Manage the creation and review of design drawings
  • Work with project managers and contractors to ensure a seamless integration between design and construction
  • Identify any risks that could cause the project to be delayed
  • Monitor the progress of the project - ensuring all budgets and schedules are adhered to
  • Address any design changes that will benefit the client
  • Track the design process ensuring it aligns with the project deadlines
