Renewco Power are looking for a Senior onshore Wind Power Professional to help lead their onshore wind pipeline development.
About Renewco:
Renewco Power is a newly formed renewable power business, with plans to become a leading European clean energy platform. Renewco will focus on developing utility-scale solar, wind and storage assets across Europe, with the aim of maximising the potential in clean energy projects. The company is targeting the development of over 4GW of renewable assets within five years.
This is an exciting time to be joining the team at Renewco, you'll be key member of a highly experienced and entrepreneurial team who are passionate about creating a cleaner future. This is a senior level strategic role responsible for growing the company's wind development pipeline.
The role
- Leading development strategies and presentation to the CEO and Board.
- Leading and providing input to all commercial agreements and contracts.
- Preparing and presenting project investment papers.
- Developing and managing project budget.
- Management of all critical risks, issues and impacts of the project specifically the adequate application of and adherence to both statutory and corporate health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Negotiate and lead interfaces with all key stakeholders
- Delivery of projects with annual budget in excess of £4m
- Managing all aspects of project management with consultants/contractors
- Due diligence.
About you:
We are looking for applicants with experience gained throughout the entire onshore wind project development process from greenfield all the way through to construction.
- Professional Qualification in Engineering/Planning/Environmental Science
- Proven Project Development experience in onshore wind
- Experience and understanding of planning system and consenting regimes
- Highly developed negotiation skills
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Based in Scotland or North England (or willing to relocate)
- Flexible approach and able to travel
