Location: London and South England
Contract: Full time, permanent (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities
As a Senior Digital Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for implementation of our digital by default approach including the BIM process and business unit digital maturity, reporting on the progress and highlighting any risk to senior managers to ensure support is given to achieve accelerated adoption of digital construction techniques.
Your day to day will include:
- Responsible for ensuring that the BIM Execution Plan and other documents/resources have been produced and maintained for projects across the business unit.
- Responsible for ensuring the use of the common data environment process to manage and exchanging information, adhering to the methodology of ISO 19650-1 & 2 across projects across the business unit.
- Supporting and auditing the delivery team with fulfilling standards, methods and procedures using specified software/workflows and highlighting any continued non-compliance with the Head of Digital Construction.
- Responsible for producing monthly reports to identify and measure BIM implementation within the business unit and across projects. Inform and share reports with Head of Digital Construction, business unit to enable overall Construction performance to be monitored.
- Responsible for driving the implementation of digital information plans/strategies and provide feedback to Head of Digital Construction, business unit to ensure progress is being made and commitment to such documentation is being observed
This role of Senior Digital Construction Manager is great for you if you have:
- A strong communicator and a proven ability to build positive working relationships, internally and externally across all levels of management
- Strong leadership skills with a strategic interest
- Confident and assertive to enable challenges to be overcome and risks escalated.
- Experience of implementing the 1192 suite of documents and detailed knowledge of the ISO 19650 series including UK National Annex
- Knowledge of openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability
- Ability to coordinate and manage own and others workload and prioritise accordingly to supporting project delivery
