Electrical Engineer's with experience in the MEP Contracting Environment on Data Centre projects will enjoy working for a market leader in European Mission Critical projects on one of their landmark projects in the UK to date. Working for an exciting client, on a major project, you will get high-level experience and exposure to one of the biggest Data Centre projects in construction in the UK at the moment.

This leading M&E Contractor are now becoming the subcontractor of choice for many of Europe's largest Data Centre projects and are taking a step into EPC contracting. With a vast training and development budget and an ever-growing project portfolio globally, this organisation is in a good position to be able to help you take the next steps in your career.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for a large Data Centre project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the electrical design meets project requirements
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior electrical engineers
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design and implementation for Data Centre projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including British Standards (BS) and National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience with power distribution systems, emergency power systems, lighting, and fire alarm systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software
