Kier Regional Civils are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator to maximise the commercial position of Kier whilst securing opportunities in line with our Business Plan objectives
Job Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you'll produce target costs on contract within our existing framework using Causeway estimating software and out of framework tenders and Frameworks. You'll manage all aspects of quote works process and estimate the cost of projects to meet and exceed the client's requirements. You'll also support the programme of works safely, on time and to the required quality standards, and determine the contractual, financial, technical and operational risks, to reduce risk and maximise gross profit.
What do we need from you?
You'll be from an Estimating background and have a strong ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure. You'll be highly organised and be able to present information in a logical manner. You'll also be a strong communicator, work well independently and as part of a team. You must have experience in Early Contractor involvement, Value Engineering and Risk Management. You will have experience of Estimating within and out of frameworks ideally experience of Flood defence, Canals, water and bidding Frameworks.
