This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join the London team of a well-established multidisciplinary environmental consultancy. My client is a forward-thinking company committed to delivering high-quality sustainable solutions across a range of sectors. This is a hybrid role and full or part-time hours will be considered.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience preparing FRAs and Drainage Strategies. A sound understanding of the planning system and experience with Microdrainage is essential. Other key attributes include:
- Awareness of financial control
- Experience manging projects and communicating with a range of clients
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Some knowledge of Tuflow, Flood Modeller Pro, FEH or river restoration would be advantageous
The Flood Risk team is currently working on a range of exciting projects, including:
- Drainage Strategies and Flood Risk Assessments for a range of schemes including airports, premier league football clubs/sporting facilities, life science facilities, industrial and residential developments
- Projects requiring hydraulic modelling (TuFlow/Flood Modeller) and floodplain compensation
- Projects involving restoration of existing watercourses on site, both in urban and rural environments
- Nutrient neutrality assessments
