Senior Furniture Consultant Job in London

Senior Furniture Consultant job available with a leading workplace design and build firm in London. The firm has a thriving portfolio of work across the UK and is looking for a Senior Furniture Consultant with proven experience selling commercial furniture to corporate clients in the UK. The position offers a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus potential OTE of approximately £70,000.

With a long-standing history of delivering unique and inspiring commercial interiors, this company has gone from strength to strength over the years. Currently operating with a team of 150+ designers, architects, visualisers, and creatives, working from their London office. This is a rewarding role with the chance to join a leading firm within their sector during an exciting period of growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities and maximise revenue opportunities
  • Provide furniture specification and consultancy services for selected projects, internally and externally
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure furniture specifications are aligned with design schemes
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and new products/concepts, advising clients accordingly
  • Prepare and collate relevant imagery to represent design schemes and cost plans
  • Creations and coordination of pre-contract cost plans, schedules, and drawings
  • Liaise with suppliers to understand costs and lead times; assisting with POs and quality control of items received
  • Procurement assistance
  • Liaise with the department lead and project teams to ensure projects have accurate installation documentation and delivery schedules.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a furniture sales/consultancy role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial furniture, industry trends, and suppliers
  • Good negotiation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel within the UK
  • Ideally degree educated within a relevant subject.

What you get back

  • Salary of up to £55,000
  • Commission, expected additional earnings of £4,000 per quarter.
