We're looking for a Senior Information Coordinator (Document Control) to join our Highways A66 team based in Penrith, who will work as a collaborative member of the Kier team, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and best practice to the wider Kier team. Location: Penrith with hybrid working available, with travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Responsibilities

As a Senior Information Coordinator, you'll manage and maintain the Document Management System (DMS) on the ProjectWise Platform and implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.

Your day to day will include:

  • Management and maintenance of the Document Management System (DMS) on the ProjectWise Platform
  • Follow established standards on document naming, numbering, revising, and formatting (BS ENO ISO 19650) and track all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including logging in registers and issuing document transmittals
  • Responsible for issuing to the client on their DMS Business Collaborator
  • Implementation and maintenance of document control processes and procedures
  • Work effectively with suppliers, the client and other internal/external parties to ensure that information is distributed and managed correctly
Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Information Coordinator is great if you have:

  • Expertise and understanding of working with Document Management Systems (DMS) / Common Data Environments (CDE) on the ProjectWise Platform and a good experience of document control
  • Experience in the transmittal process, of documents from contractor to client
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Software systems (Office 365, Word, Excel, Power Point), Acrobat editing software, Microsoft Teams, One Drive and Share Point
  • Proactive, effective communicator with strong attention to detail and good analytical and problem-solving skills
