Senior Interior Designer Job in Crawley, West Sussex

Senior Interior Designer required to join an expanding workplace design and build firm based in Crawley, West Sussex. You will be joining a team of creatives and taking ownership of your projects across all stages. In return, the firm is offering an attractive salary of circa£55,000 per annum, work from home and flexible working opportunities, as well as a various social events throughout the year!

Established over a decade ago, this design & build firm has been gathering pace across their sector and offer a range of services to clients, from consultation, design and development, to construction. They work with a wide range of SMEs across London and the South East to develop creative and contemporary workplace environments up to and around 15,000sqft. They're now looking for an experienced and confident Senior Interior Designer to join their small team of 8 on a full-time permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To work directly with clients, from initial concept through to construction and handover
  • Take the creative lead on projects and work with clients to understand and interpret their briefs for feasible designs
  • Create and deliver technical packages, working with external visualisers and outsourcing companies, when required
  • Develop and present client presentations, assisting with new and existing business development
  • Manage and mentor join members of the team, working closely with the directors of the business
  • Attend site visits, oversee installations and snagging

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years' experience working in a commercial/workplace environment
  • Competency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
  • Experience working directly with clients to understand design requirements
  • Ability to travel to sites and client meetings
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
