Senior Interior Designer Job in London

My client, based in NW London, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their high-end residential design team on a full-time permanent basis. The practice specialise in hospitality and residential design and due to continued expansion, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Interior Designer.

As part of the residential design team, you will be part of a team of 9 designers that work on both interior design and FF&E. The role will see you involved in various stages of the design process, with a particular focus on concept design and development. The projects are typically large-scale and overseas so a lot of the process will be office-based but will still see you involved with liaising with clients and contractors.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from concept through to completion
  • Assist junior members of the team
  • Liaise with clients, external contractors, suppliers, etc.
  • Establish FF&E concepts and installation plans with the support of the wider design team
  • Develop and create concept proposals, mood boards, and presentations; participating in delivering the presentations when required
  • Produce technical design packages and joinery detailing
  • Attend design review meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' proven experience working on high-end residential projects
  • Degree qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven competency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
  • FF&E design and specification experience.
