Senior Interior Designer Job in Shoreditch, London

Due to continued expansion of their talented architecture and interior design team, my client is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer with strong technical skills to join their team and work on a wide range of high-end residential, F&B, marine projects. My client's team is highly collaborative and is looking for someone that enjoys creating distinctive and eclectic designs that encompasses a mixture of classic and contemporary aesthetics.

Currently a team of 15, based in Shoreditch, the practice work with clients from across the globe to create unique and stand-out projects that draw inspiration from a wide range of sources. This role will see you involved in all stages from concept through to completion, including on-site installation, and will have a slight bias towards technical design and interior architecture.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on numerous projects with assistance from junior or mid-weight colleagues
  • Liaise directly with clients and contractors
  • Create, develop, and deliver client presentations/meetings
  • Prepare concept designs, mood boards, FF&E specifications, etc.
  • Assist with FF&E procurement and logistics
  • Project management of new and existing projects, value engineering, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Create technical packages/joinery detailing for tender.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or similar
  • 7+ years' experience within the high-end residential sector
  • Proven experience working from concept to completion and delivering projects
  • Strong technical skills and experience with FF&E specification and sourcing
  • Confident managing projects and members of the team
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and MS Office. EstiMAC is also desirable but not essential.
