We're looking for a Senior Land Access Co-ordinator to join our regional civils team based in Doxey, Staffordshire. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

As Senior Land Access Co-ordinator you will be working on the HS2 project from Birmingham to Crewe facilitating access to 3rd party land in order to carry out environmental surveys and highways construction

  • Managing a team to arrange land access for various survey types for the client (Providing training and support where necessary)
  • Using and updating complex spreadsheets with survey and land access information on a weekly basis from other contractors and the client. (Contrasting data and ensuring data accuracy)
  • Attending daily client and contractor land meetings via MS Teams to provide updates to line management. (Undertaking actions to enable the land access)
  • Working collaboratively with other teams internally and externally to help organise environmental impact surveys
  • Investigating land queries and providing feedback to interested parties (Use of Shapefiles, Data Analysis, knowledge of land acquisitions, land access initiation according to HS2 processes and procedures, Providing detailed plans on land access matters).
What do we need from you?

  • Critical thinking and ability to resolve land access discrepancies
  • Previous experience in project coordination and process management
  • Knowledge of ecological surveys and 3rd party landowner liaison.
  • Use and knowledge of GIS
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Friendly and approachable persona with the confidence to engage with multiple people
