This is an excellent opening with remote working options available for a Senior Landscape Architect looking to progress their career in landscape architecture. With future advancement opportunities, this role will lead to involvement in a wide range of project types at all stages of the design.
Now seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join their team in South London, my client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary, environment planning and design consultancy, that has 4 offices across the UK and Ireland. Formed of specialist Landscape Architects, Environmental Planners, Ecologists, and Arboriculturists, the firm has been established for over 30 years and continues to produce a high standard of work. With services in landscape architecture, urban design, landscape, environmental planning, ecology, and arboriculture, they work with both private and public clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop designs, reports, and detailed information with strategic guidance provided by a Director
- Current work covers a variety of sectors, including public realm, education, strategic, detailed residential schemes, renewable energy projects, and green infrastructure projects
- Lead your own team, and work towards becoming the lead for their London office.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally, be a fully Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or be on your pathway to Chartership
- PGDip in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent)
- Experience of BIM Level 2 and Revit and/or Vectorworks
- Strong technical knowledge, including UK design standards and regulations
- A good understanding of the planning application process
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of all project stages and the design process
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp
- Experience in preparing technical reports and design statements (preferably including LVIAs)
- Have a minimum of 3 years UK professional working experience
- National Diploma or Degree in Arboriculture would be beneficial.
