Senior Associate Landscape Architect Job in Southeast London
This is an excellent opening with remote working options available for a Senior Associate Landscape Architect looking to progress their career in landscape architecture. With future advancement opportunities, this role will lead to involvement in a wide range of project types at all stages of the design.
Now seeking an experienced Senior Associate Landscape Architect to join their team in South East London, my client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary, environment planning and design consultancy, that has 4 offices across the UK and Ireland. Formed of specialist Landscape Architects, Environmental Planners, Ecologists, and Arboriculturists, the firm has been established for over 30 years and continues to produce a high standard of work. With services in landscape architecture, urban design, landscape, environmental planning, ecology, and arboriculture, they work with both private and public clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- Secure, manage, and deliver projects of varying types, sizes, and complexity, within a variety of sectors.
- Involvement in the management of the business as a whole and will be working closely alongside the London office Director and Associate, where you will assist in managing a small team of staff
- Current work covers a variety of sectors, including public realm, education, strategic, detailed residential schemes, renewable energy projects, and green infrastructure projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 6 years' experience is expected, to have the skills and knowledge required to undertake this role successfully
- Be a fully Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI)
- A minimum of 2 years UK working experience
- Have a wide range of experience in landscape design and landscape planning project management, including LVIA, TVIA, EIA, landscape character assessment, and capacity studies
- Enthusiasm and drive to promote the profession of landscape architecture
- Experience supervising and managing technical staff in landscape planning projects
- Fantastic knowledge of procurement and the contract administration of construction projects
- Extensive client management and business development experience
- Demonstrable experience of successfully winning work.
