KPS are able to quickly mobilise resources to support project delivery and consistently deliver a dependable design service for buildability and safety.

Kier Professional Services (KPS) are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the MEICA engineering design projects.

Key Responsibilities

In this Senior Mechanical Engineer exciting role, you'll organise the day-to-day workload of engineers and technical staff and lead the overall mechanical design for industrial and process clients, dealing with process control systems such as water and waste treatment systems. You'll prepare mechanical design requirements and provide tender design and bid winning support for mechanical design incl. feasibility studies, outline design, production and evaluation of concepts. You'll also lead the development of fee proposals, identifying technical risks and solutions to facilitate scoping, pricing, design and construction.

What do we need from you?

Ideally, you'll be a fully Chartered Engineer and have Membership from an appropriate professional body (IET or ImechE). You'll also have extensive experience within the waste water or process related industries and detailed knowledge of SHE requirements. A proven track record of delivering design projects and you'll be able to have a good understanding of the financial constraints, programming and buildability of projects.
