Mechanical Engineers with Data Centre experience on small to medium sized projects will enjoy working for a major Contractor within their Managed Services division, working on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the North of the Netherlands. Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to get exposure to a global client, with extensive progression opportunities available for the right candidate.

With a dominant presence in most complex engineering projects in Europe, the Global Contractor are going from strength to strength and continue to expand their offering across EMEA. Their Managed Service division works with some of the largest clients in the world and provides and excellent opportunity for engineers to work on some of the most interesting facilities and projects in the world.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work on projects from Preconstruction through to Completion and handover, acting as the client point of contact for all Mechanical Engineering matters.
  • Coordinate with the Design Team and any third party designers to ensure all design deliverables are complete and issued as per schedule.
  • Liaise with client stakeholders to ensure their inputs are captured during all phases of the project life-cycle.
  • Ensure Design and Constructability reviews are being completed on projects, as appropriate.
  • Manage Contractors and Vendors on the ground.
  • Assist with City and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process.

Personal Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in the delivery of small to medium capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning in the Mission Critical / ICT or allied sector.
  • A third level degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Proven experience in delivery of multiple concurrent projects
  • Good working knowledge of English and Dutch.
