The Role

Are you passionate about driving organisational development initiatives that make a real impact? We are looking for an experienced Senior OD Advisor to identify, design, develop and implement or commission innovative OD solutions that support organisational performance improvement and reinforce our position as an Employer of Choice. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to design and deliver engaging learning solutions, helping to shape a culture of continuous growth and development. Principle accountabilities of the role include:

Operationally lead on key work-streams that support delivery of the People Strategy.
Provide an internal consultancy service, analysing business needs to provide specialist advice and solutions.
Work with the Head of Organisational Development and wider HR team to develop robust development solutions for colleagues across the business.
Support current and new engagement initiatives designed as part of the Group’s wider Better with Bellway sustainability strategy.
Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures taking account of organisational priorities, stakeholder engagement and compliance.
Manage relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external training providers and consultants.
In partnership with key colleagues and SME’s, support the development of comprehensive induction programs for staff at all levels.
Collate and monitor feedback on learning interventions and development programs to support continuous improvement across initiatives for future cohorts.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills

Experience & Qualifications

Previous work experience in a fast-paced in-house HR, OD or L&D team including knowledge of modern people development and change strategies and how to apply these in practice.
Experience of working with a Learning Experience System (LXP) or other similar database is essential.
Experience of creating digital learning resources.
A relevant CIPD or learning related qualification.
Knowledge of Agile working practices would be advantageous.
Skills and aptitude

Excellent project management and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent listening skills, with the ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.

The Role and Working Conditions

Willing to be flexible in respect to day-to-day duties and hours worked.
Willing to travel to deliver/support initiatives in line with business need.
Office based role, Monday to Friday (flexible working with 1 day remote working)
Core hours and agile working options available.
