A respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with a growing national planning team is looking to recruit both a Senior Planner to support increasing workloads and help expand their planning capability across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality planning advice and deliver excellent client service.
Manage smaller-scale projects from start to finish with guidance from senior colleagues.
Support on complex projects through research, analysis, and preparation of deliverables.
Prepare planning appraisals for potential development proposals.
Coordinate and contribute to planning applications and appeals.
Produce clear, well-structured written reports to support submissions.
Assist with Local Plan representations, site promotions, and support at Examinations in Public.
Liaise effectively with local authorities, consultees, clients, and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships across teams and disciplines.
Stay informed of current planning policy, legislation, and market trends.
Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
Skills and Experience Required
Degree in a relevant RTPI-accredited discipline.
Working towards or holding RTPI membership.
Proven experience in a planning role within consultancy, local authority, or developer environment.
Strong understanding of planning legislation, policy, and processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Highly organised, with great attention to detail.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes.
