Kier Infrastructure Major Projects are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to initially fully manage, monitor and develop all aspects of our Sellafield SRP programme of works.
Job Responsibilities
In this exciting Senior Planner role, you'll initially play a key role within the Sellafield SRP project to aid delivery to time and budget. You'll ensure the programme is developed, communicated, reviewed, monitored and efficiently delivered across all stages of the project planning life cycle, supporting the project management team through construction and into handover. You'll work closely with the operational team to plan the sequence of work, key dates and resourcing of the project. You'll also provide key data to support the business unit and scheme's project control reporting.
What do we need from you?
You'll have demonstrable experience in contract planning for a main contractor under NEC 3 contract conditions, including change management. We're also looking for proven delivery experience of large scale FRC structures with a sound technical knowledge of the construction process and a high level of competency within Primavera P6, including cost loading. You'll have a proactive mind-set with good communication and problem-solving skills. Experience of the constraints of working within an operational nuclear environment (desirable but not essential)
