Senior Planner Job in the West Midlands
My client who are one of the UK's leading retirement living developers have a Senior Planner job available in the West Midlands.
As the successful Senior Town Planner, you'll be working on multiple developments at any one time with each development at different stages in the process. You'll be working closely with the eight other members of the planning team with responsibilities for developments in the Midlands and East Anglia as well having involvement at group level.
Role & Responsibilities
- Arrange Pre-Application meetings with local authorities on development opportunities
- Advise on Section 106 Obligations and liaise with solicitors on production of Section 106 Agreements
- Produce viability assessments for the submission of planning applications
- Prepare analysis of planning policies and other relevant criteria for feasibility studies for land purchase
- Attend Planning Committee meetings
- Attend and participate in weekly management meetings and monthly Land & Planning meetings
- The review and recommendations relating to planning legislation, local plans and other matters affecting the Regions planning and development objectives
Required Skills & Experience
- Town Planning Degree or Diploma
- Ideally MRTPI
- Experience in large scale residential developments
What you get back
- £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- Car or car allowance
