Project Engineer's with experience in Procurement or Purchasing of large MEP equipment will enjoy working for a leading Consultancy, engaged on Procurement services for a major tech client across EMEA. In this role you will be responsible for procuring and purchasing large equipment for Hyperscale Data Centre projects across the EMEA region, reporting into members of this major tech client. It's a great opportunity to work in a specialist role in a bustling sector with the option to work full remotely for the right candidate!

This well-respected name in the consultancy industry is taking big steps in the Data Centre and Mission Critical markets, with a strong portfolio of clients and projects across the EMEA region and are now looking to expand their team across the region to deliver on the increased workload. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support CO+I DISC Procurement with delivery and execution of supply chain strategy
  • Project Management of commercial and procurement support for the development and execution of OFCI project POR's, Regional bids and primary and secondary POR's
  • Support with Regional OFCI strategy as it relates to OFCI categories
  • Oversight of Commercial and procurement support to the project Support process improvement initiatives as we scale in region and execute in multiple countries
  • Support teams for the management and validation of executed supplier POR's
  • Provide daily support to the routine business of DISC team, and assist with process development and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with the scheduling teams to ensure PORs are aligned with site requirements and ROJ dates
  • Coordinate and compile executive summary reports for quarterly business updates
  • Track lessons learned from previous projects and ensure same are catered for in new project PORs

Personal Requirements

  • 8+ Years experience in Engineering related field
  • Mechanical or Electrical background
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding
  • Experience liaising, negotiating, and managing vendors
  • Data Centre experience is a strong preference
