Senior Project Manager Job in Manhattan, New York

Senior Project Manager job available with a leading architecture and design firm located in New York, specialising in healthcare environments. The position will see you manage all stages of projects, working with assistants and liaising directly with clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in a similar role and strong understanding of healthcare design guidelines and regulations.

Specialising in corporate interiors this practice has a long-standing history of working with prestigious clients across the globe in both the workplace and retail sector. The team of almost 200 work from two offices in New York, covering all stages of architecture and design. Due to continued expansion of their portfolio they're now looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Project management of all stages for healthcare projects
  • Manage project finances and fees/budgets
  • Coordinate with clients/contractors
  • Progress review and timeframe planning, visiting sites throughout construction/roll-out
  • Coordinate each phase of projects, speaking with clients on a weekly basis to update plans
  • Delegation of tasks and team management
  • Track and allocation of work hours

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in management of healthcare/medical projects
  • Strong AutoCAD experience, Revit experience is also a bonus
  • Understanding and experience with commercial building codes and regulations/compliance, including FGI Guidelines, NFPA 101, and best practice
  • Experience liaising with landlords and consultants across all stages
  • Experience managing project budgets and finances
  • Able to delegate and manage a team
