My client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in managing fit-out projects valued at over $7 million.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
They are a leading Fit out contractor in the industry and have been designing and delivering office Fit Outs for the last 40 years.
What does a Project Manager role entail?
- Lead and manage all aspects of fit-out projects, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop project plans, including defining objectives, milestones, and deliverable, and effectively communicate them to the project team.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution and timely resolution of any issues.
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimal pricing and cost savings.
- Oversee procurement processes, including the selection and evaluation of vendors and subcontractors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements for the Project Manager role:
- Experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on fit-out projects valued at over $7 million.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
