Location: working on sites across South London, Crawley and Maidstone - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager working within energy-based utilities, you'll report to the Contracts Manager an oversee the work of your team delivering projects ranging from £500k to £10m, such as cable, overhead line and substation infrastructure projects
Your day to day will include:
- Financial monitoring and control of a portfolio of Asset Management / New Connection contracts, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and ensure projects are programmed in P6 to a level of detail necessary for operational teams to deliver the projects
- Ensure and oversee the production of progress reports, updated costs and forecasts
This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if you have:
- A relevant qualification and/or experience in a construction/utilities environment with excellent people and contract management skills
- Full understanding of current Health & Safety Legislation, including HSWA and CDM Regulations
- Excellent NEC3 contractual and commercial awareness and target cost contracts including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms
