Source Design Services, part of Kier Utilities, is responsible for delivering technically advanced and ingenious design solutions for many leading construction and infrastructure projects. Working collaboratively with our clients, our people develop bespoke solutions from concept through to completion.
Through our expertise we are able to apply extensive knowledge and experience, creating the most effective solutions on projects ranging from live environments such as highly complex inner-city rail interchanges and inner-city locations to brownfield developments.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Manager in implementing commercial reporting systems and procedures. Evaluate and manage all contractual risks and work with Project Managers/ Engineers to maximise commercial benefits of all responsible contracts. With particular focus on risk mitigation, pricing of variations (EWN/CE Processes), detailed cost management, and day-to-day management of contracts or a portfolio of contracts. The provision of commercial services and strategy alignment within an Alliancing Environment.
To be successful in this role you'll ideally have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills. It is essential that you have a UK Driving License and you are educated to a degree level or equivalent experience in this type of position. Flexibility is also key for this role.
