Location: As this is a project specific opportunity, the role will be based in Basingstoke for 18 months during preconstruction phase, before transferring to site in Harlow for 24 months.

Kier is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly successful team in delivery of a new high containment science facility for Public Health England in Harlow, Essex. The facility is part of the UK's national infrastructure and will be one of the largest, most complex facilities of its type in the country. Designed and Built to the highest standards, the facility will include a range of science and laboratory facilities including CL2, CL3 & CL4 suites, MRI suites and complex M+E and process systems.
? Job responsibilities
? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor with our Cambridge team, you will be responsible for a team where you may need to support them with commercial and contractual advice. You will be ensuring cash flow is maximised, providing commercial input, ensuring the team exceeds KPI's, preparing monthly cost reports and managing sub-contractors. Not forgetting to assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk management.
What do we need from you?
Working on education, commercial, leisure, healthcare, MOD and mix-use projects valued up to £60m, we are looking for like for like industry experience.
We will also need you to be educated to degree level, or equivalent experience, have proven experience in a similar role and be an excellent communicator.
