We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Kier Construction in the Eastern Region.

Location: Working on projects within a 1-hour commute from our office in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Contract: Permanent, full time.

Responsibilities

Kier Construction are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead projects based out of our Rushden office. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Education to commercial, healthcare, leisure, public sector and more!

Your day to day will include:
  • Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
  • Working alongside the project delivery team to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
  • Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement and be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:
  • HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline
  • Previous experience of managing a team on a build project
  • Strong commercial acumen
