We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our HS2 Commercial team to deliver the project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will provide overall day-to-day commercial responsibility for many of the commercial functions, such as subcontract management, CVR management, change control, forecasting and final accounts. You'll administer and enforce business commercial procedures; measure works carried out against the Activity Schedule and submit monthly and final applications for payment. You'll also place subsequent commercial and financial management of sub-contract agreements and provide assistance to the operational teams as required. This role will involve accurately monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project cost and value and pricing EWN's/CE's, to ensure time and cost recovery.
What do we need from you?
A commercially focused individual with experience on NEC Option A Contracts, and demonstrable experience in the Construction Industry, preferably from a Highways/Civils background. The ideal candidate must be able to work well in both internal and external contract/project teams. A driving license is essential.
