Job Title: MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Midlands / South

Business area: Kier Mechanical and Electrical

Contract: Permanent, full time.

Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects that range from £5m to £125m. Key Responsibilities

Commercially lead the tender phase through to delivery and project completion. As a Senior quantity surveyor, you will manage a team as well as the commercial and financial review of the MEP packages. You will identify risks and opportunities with individual packages as well as ensuring we are compliant for commercial assessments. Attending meetings, reviewing design & procurement programmes, and health and safety inspections will also be part of your daily operation.


What do we need from you?

You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying and have previous experience in a similar role or within a commercially focused environment. You will understand the importance of risk management and have the ability to add value to the project in hand.
