We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Major Projects team in Devonport.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you'll provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team and ensure that business targets and KPI's are met. You'll ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are made and received on time and also forecast and monitor spend against approved Client budgets. In addition, you'll be responsible for preparation and review of monthly cost reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members.
What do we need from you?
You'll be qualified to a degree level or equivalent and have demonstrable experience within a similar role. You'll have proven track record of working on similar contracts and experience working with accounting systems. In addition, you'll be a confident user of MS Office in particular Microsoft Excel and be a holder of a full UK driving license. Professional Accreditation such as RICS or ICE and experience in using CEMAR is desirable but not essential.
