SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR GLOUCESTERSHIRE Stafford Lawrence is recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Gloucester area. A well-known Construction Cost Consultancy /PQS that offers Quantity Surveying, Cost Consultancy, PQS services to a wide range of clients in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Our client also provides a structured career path to Associate and Director level roles for all candidates and can also assist with mentoring for APC and Chartered MRICS Status They are seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Cost Consultant with the experience and ability to work alone and as part of this growing team. This role is office-based with additional travel to client sites when required. You will oversee the contractors on behalf of the client for several projects in the region. A full clean driving licence is a requirement for this role. This is a permanent full-time role. Preference is also given to candidates located in the area or candidates who are keen to relocate to Gloucestershire from another part of the UK. Our client cannot currently offer sponsorship to NON-UK Nationals REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR The ideal candidate should have a professional qualification as a Quantity Surveyor a BSc in Quantity Surveying is preferred but our client will consider HND qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management In addition, MRICS Chartered status or working towards Chartered Status APC. How to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor In addition, candidates should have experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with well-known cost consultancy organisation or PQS practice on buildings or infrastructure projects in the UK. You will also have a solid work history and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential. To sum up, we are seeking to recruit a candidate based in the area, with the ability to travel to projects and work independently and as part of a team The role will report to the Director of Cost in the Gloucester office. SALARY & BENEFITS A Basic Salary of 45,000 -£55000 per annum.
