We have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Basingstoke. Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday



Key responsibilities

As a MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor working alongside the project delivery team, you will ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors. You will have exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery. As the successful applicant, you will manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement and be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.

Your day to day will include:

· Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project

· Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

· Liaise with clients, contractors and subcontractors to ensure the project budget requirements are met

Who are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if have:

· Experience from a similar role within the construction industry

· Are proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel

· Are degree qualified and able to demonstrate strong communication and organisational abilities.
