We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team on our project : Whiteleys - based in London. This project is the redevelopment of the historic Whiteleys Shopping Centre, which will create a vibrant destination for the community. The redevelopment includes 139 world-class modern residences, 20 new shops, cafes and restaurants, a central public courtyard, a cinema, a gym and London's flagship Six Senses hotel and spa.
What will the role look like?
- We have an opportunity for an experienced MEP SQS with excellent knowledge of MEP packages to join our commercial team on the Whiteleys Project - London.
- Part of the project Commercial team this role is responsible for the commercial aspects of a project including managing specialist sub-contractors, liaising with client & project teams; pricing of variations, interim valuations and valuing sub-contractors' accounts.
- Ensuring the project and business profit objectives and targets are met and cash and margin are managed to maximise performance, all in a manner consistent with the Group processes.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Experience in MEP quantity surveying from a specialist MEP subcontractor or main contractor.
- Skills in client & stakeholder management; cash management and optimisation; risk management; Project financial control, reporting and data management; Change management; Contract procedures; Quantification and costing of construction works.
