Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Change), you'll be working within the Sellafield team supporting the change management process liaising with Operational Teams to ensure all elements of change are captured.
Your day to day will include:
- Understanding of the contract baseline and planned intent ensuring that the project team understand the rules, rights and obligations contained in the contract
- Identification of change, reviewing with the project team of events that alter the baseline and impact the works
- Establishing the impact of change and evaluation of that change, understanding the contractual rules for evaluation and applying in an appropriate manner
- Administration, communication and implementation of change, issuing contractual notices and quotations in accordance with specified time frames
- Compilation and management of records, to support identified change and identifying any additional records that may be required as a result of new events.
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor (Change) is great for you if:
- You are qualified to a degree level or equivalent
- You have demonstrable experience within a similar role
- You'll have proven track record of working on NEC Contracts and experience working with Coins/Causeway accounting systems.
- You'll be a confident user of MS Office in particular Microsoft Excel and be a holder of a full UK driving license.
- You will have professional accreditation such as RICS or ICE and experience in using CEMAR.
