About the Project:

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Cost Management: Overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring costs are managed and controlled efficiently.
  • Budget Preparation: Preparing and managing detailed budgets for projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning.
  • Contract Administration: Managing JCT contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Procurement: Leading the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Valuations: Conducting regular valuations of work completed, ensuring accurate and timely payments to contractors and suppliers.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project costs and contracts.
  • Cost Reporting: Preparing detailed cost reports and financial statements for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Managing change orders and variations, ensuring all changes are documented and agreed upon.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
