To provide commercial support and Guidance to the Customer Care team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual and/or business requirements and ensure that the business' objectives are achieved. Liaise with all key stakeholders regarding commercial issues, including variations, claims and any additional payments.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of all Commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Advise on and implement a function specific procurement strategy.
  • Develop and Implement Cost recovery measures to ensure end to end cost recovery.
  • Develop and report against departmental specific KPI's, providing internal report.
  • Provide quarterly updates on supply chain performance.
  • Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Prepare and manage Month end reporting and financial reconciliation of cost & value.
  • Oversee the efficient procurement all Key packages in accordance with internal processes and procedures.
  • Management of a small commercial team
  • Effective and efficient control of all budgetary spends.
  • Site visits may be required site to inspect and review progress.
  • Assess applications for payment.
  • Develop and issue associated notices.
  • Maintain a strong focus towards the Customer Care budget for each project during the warranty period, assisting the Head of Customer Care where required to achieve departmental / business targets.


We're Looking For:

  • BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Chartered member of RICS
  • Negotiation training
  • Presentation skills
  • At least 7 years previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
